I don"t own one and it would be a bit hard to develop the function without a device to test it (integrating the cadence sensor was not that easy)

  3. Detect «oruxmaps donate» for «oruxmaps»

While I have «oruxmaps donate» version on my phone, ventoo propose me to install «oruxmaps» (which is seen as disabled in the settings).

    For example:

    Cycle ride

    Expanding to:
    Cycle ride
    30 Minutes

  5. Nautical/Nautical units, for speed AND distance

Right now nautical units can only be selected for speed, but not for distance. For a nautical use, distance is measured in nautical miles.

If you select “nautical units/metrics”, the speed will be in knots, the distance in nautical miles and the altitude in metesr. Would you please double check it? And verify you have the last android version (Ventoo 2.3)

  6. vibration feedback

it would be nice if the pebble vibrate when receiving confirmation from phone after pressing the start / stop button :)

Can you give us a bit more details?
Pebble Bike android app version? Watchface version?
Does it work on the phone (and not on the pebble) or not at all?

  10. Livetracking of GPSies.com

It should be a quick win ;-) because livetracking is already implemented into Pebble Bike. GPSies.com is (my) site and has tons of cycle tracks.

Livetracking is available for registered user. Every user needs for the tracking the username and a PIN (4 numbers, like a password). The PIN can be picked up here: http://www.gpsies.com/liveTracking.do (user must be logged in).

Here is the description to the livetracking:

    Live tracking server URL: http://www.gpsies.com/liveTracking.do

    Live tracking mandatory parameter:
    ?username=<username>
    &pin=<pin>
    &latitude=<double value, e.g. 52.45334>
    &longitude=<double value, e.g. 13.33677>
    &requestTimestamp=<UTC timestamp (phone clock) in seconds, e.g. 1405590994 ( = 17. Juli 2014 11:56:33)>

What would be your use case?

You can already access that information in the settings (Android app>settings>sensor), but it’s not really friendly

  • Don't see your idea?
