New feature request

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

    While I have «oruxmaps donate» version on my phone, ventoo propose me to install «oruxmaps» (which is seen as disabled in the settings).

  4. Hard to read the smaller type

    The central type is huge and easy to read but I have trouble seeing the other type on the display when running. I recommend making the type bigger on the other sections and perhaps shrinking the central one slightly to make more room. I estimate the central font is 3x the height of the other fonts!

    Can you give us a bit more details?
    Pebble Bike android app version? Watchface version?
    Does it work on the phone (and not on the pebble) or not at all?

  6. Auto start BLE HRM on oruxmaps

    If you start tracking with oruzmaps and you also have a BLE HRM connected (to Oruzmaps), you have to manually start HRM monitor.

    Is it possible to autostart it when starting tracking?

    I’ve contacted Oruxmaps developer to add the possibility to start sensors from an outside app. It should be ok in the next versions (Oruxmaps+Pebble Bike).

  7. Phone Battery indicator as display options.

    On a long ride I get close to rinsing my battery. Would be good to see when I need to plug in an external battery,

  8. Nautical/Nautical units, for speed AND distance

    Right now nautical units can only be selected for speed, but not for distance. For a nautical use, distance is measured in nautical miles.

    If you select “nautical units/metrics”, the speed will be in knots, the distance in nautical miles and the altitude in metesr. Would you please double check it? And verify you have the last android version (Ventoo 2.3)

  9. Advance request: Pebble Core support

    I know this isn't scheduled to be released until Jan 2017, but as an eager early backer I thought I'd put the request in now, so that come January you aren't surprised when I request it again :)

  11. Addition of specific data fields concerning altitude

    It would be nice if the app would show in real time max/min/avg height, ascent, descent and grade during the activity. In my opinion only Garmin Fenix and Suunto Ambit (with apps) have these interesting features for cyclists and mountainbikers

  15. BLE custom

    I have a LIVALL P1 nano cadence sensor but Ventoo can't get the cadence values. I think the hardware provides slope too but the problem is that the format doesn't seem to be compatible. Monitoring with diverse tools I can't find the fields with the useful data. Really the proprietary software is horrible.

  16. Audio cues

    It would be great to hear configurable ride stats via my bone conducting headset. Also 'start/pause recording' would be welcome. I would also say turn-by-turn nav, but that is really hard to do well (see app Bike Tracker for a job well done)

  19. Stable Maps App for biking

    I love the stsble App Osmand+ for biking , a perfekt Map and Routing would love to see some Integration data and Direction arrows

    Orux is way too complicated and not stable, with my oneplus3 it doesn't show detailed Map for Germany
